Some of the top names in health on the Island are taking part in a conference organised by Isle of Man college students today (Wednesday).
Director of public health Dr Parameswaran Kishore and mental health promotion specialist Julie Bennion are among those who are addressing the event, entitled 'Mental Health: a Public Health Concern?'

The conference is at Elmwood House on Glencrutchery Road, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
The organisers are all level 5 BSc public health students.
