Free passes for sites operated by Manx National Heritage will be given to all 12,500 pupils at the Island's schools, by the end of next week.
They have been produced by MNH in conjunction with Conister Bank, and will be handed over individually to each of the students by their teachers.
The passes are designed for use by anybody of compulsory school age living in the Isle of Man, and Department of Education official John Gill says it promises to be a great aid to studies (play audio file):
Passes for students educated at home, or at private schools off the Island, can be obtained by contacting John Gill at the Department of Education, on 686417.
