Advice follows shortage of staff in some pharmacies
People are being advised to ensure their requests for repeat prescriptions are submitted to their GP in plenty of time.
Manx Care says it's to ensure that supply of medication is not interrupted.
The advice follows issues caused by a shortage of staff in some pharmacies which is resulting in long delays.
Some Lloyds Pharmacies are operating with reduced opening hours and Manx Care says it's trying to support these teams where possible to make sure provision is available.
Pharmaceutical Adviser Maria Bell said: "We want to make sure there are no interruptions to your supply of medicines during our busiest season, and so we are asking you to plan ahead and allow time for your prescription to be processed."
