A prestigious medical conference in the Isle of Man yesterday (Wednesday) focused on the role of nurses in ensuring patient safety.
The 10th anniversary Small Communities Conference for Nursing and Midwifery attracted more than 140 delegates, from the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar and Germany.
The Department of Health hosted the two-day event, at the Keyll Darree Education and Training Centre in Braddan, with a programme which included presentations from each of the five countries.
