Coroner of Inquests John Needham has recorded a verdict of suicide on a 57-year-old diesel fitter from Ramsey.
David Martin Jones was found in the bathroom of his home on Coburg Road in the town in March.
The court heard that Mr Jones, known as Davy, had been depressed following the death of his partner.
