
A festival which harks back to the glory days of Douglas Head as an entertainment venue takes place this afternoon (Sunday).
The Summer Extravaganza, which has everything from live music to kite making, takes place between 2pm and 5pm and is billed as fun for all the family.
The Department of Tourism and Leisure's Dawn Maddrell says it's an idea which has been in the pipeline for some time (audio file attached):
