Fines handed out
A number of motorists were caught speeding in the good weather yesterday.
Extra police officers were stationed around the TT Course with radar guns, as the force claims sunnier days tend to create disregard for speed limits.
The Constabulary says controversy over the effectiveness of the devices is based on 'myths', and the equipment is regularly calibrated to ensure accuracy.
In addition to handing out several fines, officers also seized a vehicle found without tax or insurance.
The driver has been summoned for a court appearance.
