With Christmas on the horizon, Manx National Heritage will host a rare Sunday opening today.
As part of MNH's festive events, the Manx Museum is the venue for a Christmas Truce Concert, with music, carols and readings in the spirit of the remarkable military event of 1914.
Castletown Metropolitan Silver Band, Lon Dhoo Male Voice Choir and Manx Voices will all take part, while there’ll be readings from the letters of Manx soldiers who served in World War One at Christmas time.
That starts at two o’clock, while the museum and restaurant will be open to the public between 10am and five o’clock.
