One of the strangest-looking cars ever to undergo the rigours of the Manx DoT vehicle test has gone back to its designer in Switzerland, bearing the registration plate HMN 7C...and there's a clue in there somewhere!
It's actually an amphibian - part boat, part car. 'The Tonic' was designed as a one-off tender to a superyacht called the Pink Gin - which is also registered in the Isle of Man. Reputed to cost approaching £2 million, it really is the big boy's toy for the man who has everything!
