Mannin Cancers aims to raise £1.5million for new scanner
Millions of pounds worth of super cars will be gracing Manx roads today to encourage men to speak up about cancer.
Mannin Cancers is a new charity that aims to boost awareness of male cancers on the Island, and wants to raise £1.5 million for a new CT scanner so fewer patients will have to travel to Liverpool for treatment.
From 1pm this afternoon, Mooragh Park will play host to more than 50 supercars which people can sit in and have photos with before they do a lap of the TT course at 3pm.
Henry Sage from the S9 supercar forum says the event was inspired by women on the Island:
Today's event is free, however buckets will be around for those wishing to donate.
