The DHSS's Director of Health Strategy and Performance believes the services here are superior to those an equivalent population would have in England.
Norman McGregor-Edwards (pictured) says a facility like the new Noble's Hospital would only be found in a place with upwards of 250,000 people.
Therefore a lot more services are provided, especially locally.
But he says there's still more work to be done:

Island's first rapid EV charger being installed
Mooir Vannin could be first of many
'Significant investment or redevelopment' needed at Ramsey District Cottage Hospital
Braddan Commissioners open expressions of interest for TT camping at Roundhouse
