Discount chain linked with Manx move
It seems the Island won't be seeing another cut-price supermarket anytime soon.
The German discount chain Aldi has recently been announced as the fastest growing supermarket chain in the British Isles.
Rumours that Aldi may be considering opening a store on the Island have been circulating for some time with various sites being mentioned.
But whilst not ruling it out entirely, the company's UK press agency this week confirmed that Aldi has no current plans for a store on the Isle of Man
