
A prominent member of the House of Lords says he believes having the Bishop sitting in Tynwald is a good thing
Professor Lord Robert Winston was speaking during a recent visit to the Island as part of the Isle of Man Children's Centre's 140th anniversary celebrations.
There has been debate over recent years as to whether the Bishop should retain a seat in Tynwald, but Professor Winston believes Bishops have a valuable role to play in the House of Lords (audio file attached):
