Plans by Port Erin Commissioners to sell Bradda Glen restaurant have been put on hold by Tynwald.
Port Erin resident, John Maddrell, presented a memorial at the bar of the Court in which he claimed the commissioners had not considered the views of their ratepayers prior to advertising the property.
Mr Maddrell wanted to ensure the facility was secured for the nation rather than transferring to private ownership.
In the debate that followed, Tynwald supported an amendment from Rushen MHK Phil Gawne (pictured) for the Council of Ministers to consider the future of Bradda Glen.
