Site has been earmarked since 1989
A planning application for West Quay in Ramsey has been supported with a condition by the commissioners.
The plan is for six apartments to be built on the quayside with car parking spaces.
Ramsey Commissioners agreed that support be given in this case but any applications after this would be objected to.
The authority says it is 'not against development' on this site but it would like to see a more 'detailed' plan.
This area has been under development since July 1989 and was previously a garage and office space.
