Adam Huxham wins at Southern District Agricultural Show
The ‘Supreme Champion’ at this year’s Southern District Agricultural Show has told Manx Radio he’s ‘absolutely over the moon’ to pick up the award.
Adam Huxham, from Ballamoar Farm in Ballaugh, was crowned with the title yesterday (25 July).
He described getting into the arena as a full ‘family affair’ saying he was ‘buzzing’ that Lulu had taken victory:
Organisers of the event say there was an ‘incredible standard’ of cattle entered in the Supreme Championship Awards this year.
The Callow Family, from Balleigh Farm in Andreas, took the honour of Reserve Supreme Champion.
Neil Kinvig picked up Second Reserve Champion and the Third Reserve Champion prize went to Eddie and Frankie Christian.
The two-day event continues today - traffic restrictions are in place around Orrisdale Farm in Ballasalla.
