Turbines planned between Isle of Man and northwest England
Work to survey the site of a wind farm planned off the coast of the Isle of Man is getting underway.
The farm would be around 30km from the coast of northwest England - oil and gas firm BP, and German energy company EnBW, secured the rights to the site earlier this year.
Work to map the seabed began earlier this month with vessel Ocean Resolution expected to begin geophysical, geotechnical and environmental surveys in the coming days.
The study is expected to continue until spring next year.
