A survey on the attitudes of Manx people towards renewable energy has revealed support for most forms of green power.
Independent consultant Dr Felicity Greenwell was commissioned by the Durham Energy Institute to assess the views of Islanders on a range of renewables - tidal, solar, wind and bio-mass.
Over three months she gathered opinions through online surveys, phone interviews and focus groups.
Her results were unveiled at a presentation hosted by MHK Chris Thomas on Friday and will available soon online.
Dr Greenwell says there was wide support for renewables in principle
