Specially trained officers seize item at IoM Post sorting office
Police say a package was intercepted at Isle of Man Post's sorting office today, after there were suspicions about what it contained.
Specially trained police officers investigated the contents of the package further and are satisfied the substance is not as hazardous as originally suspected.
The legal status of the substance still needs to be determined, though.
The package has been seized by the police and they say further investigations will take place in due course, adding there is no ongoing threat as a result of this incident.
