Fire crews called to Ballaquayle Road this morning
Police have confirmed a fire at Douglas Snooker Bar, which occurred in the early hours of this morning, is being treated as a suspected arson attack.
Fire crews were called to the location on Ballaquayle Road, closing the road for some time.
It's the second incident to occur at the club this week, with the owners reporting a suspected break-in on Tuesday night.
Police say 'any possible connections between the two will no doubt be considered and thoroughly looked into as part of both investigations.'
Damage to the property is reported not to be extensive, and a spokesperson for the bar says they hope to reopen sometime this afternoon.
