The police and fire service are investigating a suspected arson attack on a derelict property in Port Erin.
Crews were called to the house on Bay View Road at about 10.15pm last night.
Officers say initial indications are the source of the fire was in the basement of the building, although further enquiries will be carried out in the next few days.
The building suffered significant smoke and structural damage and as a result emergency services were in attendance for over three hours.
Police say local youths are known to have got into the house in the past.
They want to speak to anyone who has any information about the incident.
