Two men have been remanded in custody, following a court appearance in connection with the seizure by police of half a kilogram of heroin, with a street value of £50,000.
A small quantity of cocaine was also recovered during a raid in the Loch Promenade area of Douglas on Tuesday morning.
Niel Veidman, a 39-year-old man from Merseyside, has been charged with importing heroin and cocaine to the Island and possession with intent to supply.
Bernard Leavey, a 35-year-old from Ramsey, is accused of being involved in the importation of heroin and cocaine to the Island and possession with intent to supply.
They will appear in court again next Tuesday, January 12.
