49-year-old has learnt a 'hard lesson'
A Douglas man has been spared prison - and ordered to pay £250 in compensation - after indecently assaulting a man in a bar.
Fernando Laranjo, of Christian Road, touched the man whilst watching football, at Jaks Bar and Smokehouse, on 20 February.
At Douglas Courthouse the 49-year-old was sentenced to 13 weeks custody which has been suspended for two years.
Laranjo's advocate told the court the offence 'has taught him a hard lesson'.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay prosecution costs and banned him from purchasing alcohol for six months.
