A 26 year-old man has been given a four month prison sentence, suspended for two years, by the High Bailiff, after admitting damaging property and possessing drugs.
Steven Alan Carriage, of Farmhill Meadows appeared for sentence.
The defendant left JAKS public house at 11.45pm on December 26, after being told to leave by staff.
Outside he picked up a traffic cone and threw it against a window of the property, causing over £100 worth of damage.
Carriage was searched at Police Headquarters and a small amount of cocaine was found in his pocket.
His advocate said he had been drinking and was showing off to his friends. He had forgotten he had the drugs.
Mr Moyle told Carriage his record did him no favours, but he accepted the damage was caused by recklessness.
He imposed a £500 fine for the damage and a nine month ban on Carriage entering on-licence premises, and being sold or purchasing alcohol.
