
BBC DJ and television presenter Andy Kershaw has escaped a jail term after admitting harassing his former partner.
But he did receive a three month suspended sentence, and a 16 month driving ban after being caught over the limit.
The Peel resident was arrested in August for breaching a restraining order banning him from approaching his former partner, Juliette Banner.
The 48-year-old said he had been left 'heartbroken' when Ms Banner, who is the mother of his two children, started a new relationship.
As he left the court today, Mr Kershaw (pictured) thanked the High Bailiff for the non-custodial sentence, and said it was time to look ahead:
