
There has been a suspicious vehicle fire in Laxey. A joint Police/Fire investigation is currently under way.
It was in the early hours of Tuesday. Police say that at around midnight fire crews were called to a report of a red Ford Escort van ablaze in the parking bays to the rear of the Co-op on New Road.
The intensity of the fire also caused considerable damage to another vehicle nearby. No one was injured during the incident. Witnesses are being asked to come forward, contact police HQ on 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
