A new 50p coin to commemorate Suzuki's 50th year of racing has been struck by the Pobjoy Mint, in time for this year's TT races.
Representatives of the Isle of Man government and members of the Suzuki GB team, including TT regular Bruce Anstey, visited the mint to launch the legal tender coin.
The design features the Isle of Man TT logo and depicts an image of a rider below the dates 1960-2010 and the wording '50 Years of Racing', with the Suzuki crest at the top of the coin.
A limited run of 5,000 proof sterling silver versions of the special 50p coins are expected to be snapped up by motorcycling enthusiasts around the world.
