
Police in Ramsey are investigating what they call a "mindless act of animal cruelty" after a dead swan was found in the harbour.
It was spotted on Saturday at around 5pm, near to the bridge on Bowring Road.
Officers says they would like to speak to three youths aged between 14 and 16 who had been seen in the area.
Two were wearing light blue hoodies and the third had on a black jacket.
It's believed all three were seen walking towards the town after the incident.
The area was busy at the time with people leaving the football stadium.
Officers are appealing for those responsible to come forward, and add they will be viewing CCTV footage to identify who did it.
