11-year-old recounts sting requiring medical attention
Swimmers are being warned to watch out for jellyfish due to large numbers congregating in Manx waters.
The warning comes after an 11-year-old schoolboy required treatment from paramedics after being stung while swimming off Fenella Beach, Peel.
Speaking to Manx Radio's Simon Richardson, Illy Quirk said the initial sting was painful, but it became much worse after he got out of the water:
