Former Manx resident fears hopes of visiting mum could be dashed by UK spike
A woman with family in the Isle of Man says she fears having her hopes of travelling to the Island dashed if there's another spike of coronavirus cases in the UK.
Janet Bower went to school on the Island before meeting her husband in Jersey, and the pair relocated to Geneva 11 years ago.
As a Swiss resident, the reduced isolation period introduced for travellers from the UK visiting Manx family doesn't apply to her.
Having not seen her mum, who lives in Castletown, since 2019, Janet says she's cautious about booking a trip:
