Commissioners appeal after individuals 'went out of their way' to cause damage
A number of table tennis paddles and balls, put out for public use in Castletown square, have been vandalised.
Castletown Town Commissioners say whilst it was 'great' to see so many people enjoying the tables yesterday (27 February) some individuals 'went out of their way to prevent others from using them'.
The local authority has shared images of the damage online and appealed for help in identifying those responsible.
It's not the first time the equipment has been targeted - they were last damaged in 2022.
