Government must report by January
Combating financial crime is now the Department of Home Affairs' 'top priority', according to bosses.
A report by Europe's MONEYVAL agency this year condemned the Island's approach to the problem, chiefly for its low conviction rate for fraud offences.
The Manx government must report back to MONEYVAL by January 2018.
