Local business owner to compete in World's Hardest Iron Man event
A local business owner is taking on what's been billed as the World's Hardest Iron Man event this weekend.
Guy Wolstencroft of Onchan-based Isle of Man Hearing Solutions will take on the gruelling one-hundred-and-forty mile Triathlon X in the Lake District on Saturday (16 June).
And in an unusual twist, he's not asking for cash pledges from supporters - instead he's calling on people to register with the charity DKMS, which matches blood cancer patients with stem cell donors.
Guy says he was inspired to take part in the event by the challenges patients face.
You can find out more about the charity DKMS by visiting dkms.org.uk.
