Joe Hillard is a Year 9 student from Ballakermeen High School and has produced a CD of his own songs to raise money for the school's charity Balla Africa.
The CD is called 'Now or Never' and is selling well among pupils.
It's also helping the charity reach its goal of raising £75,000 to build a new community centre in South Africa.
Joe and his teacher told Manx Radio how the CD came about:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
Plans submitted for 85 new homes on former Buchan School site
