How to make government departments work together better, for the good of the Isle of Man, is the theme of what promises to be a lively public meeting this evening.
Guest speaker of the Positive Action Group is former managing director of the Sefton Hotel, Chris Robertshaw.
He will argue that opportunities to boost the tourism sector have been overlooked by government.
His talk has the provocative title 'How Government broke the Tourist Industry - and how they must fix it'.
And, after last week's news of a serious reduction in income from the VAT revenue sharing agreement with the United Kingdom, Mr Robertshaw will widen his presentation to address the urgent challenges facing government as a whole (play audion file):
The meeting is being held at the Empress Hotel in Douglas from 7.30pm and is open to everyone.
