
Talks are planned between the Manx government and Flybe after the airline’s decision to shut its Isle of Man base.
It will lead to 49 job losses at Ronaldsway from next March, as well as redundancies in 12 other cities in England, Scotland, the Channel Islands and in Northern Ireland.
The Exeter-based airline is closing six bases as part of a cost-cutting plan.
Chief Minister Allan Bell says although it’s not a surprise, it’s very disappointing.
