
Locals sampled some of the finest wines and raised funds for the Royal British Legion last night.
A tasting event at the Villa Marina was organised by Laithwaites wine merchants, and 180 of its Island customers were invited to sample the goods on offer.
Head of events John Kemp and the legion’s regional manager for the north of England Brigadier Andrew Meek said the event was a great success:
