Twenty-one Isle of Man residents have been fined collectively more than £13,000 for failing to get their tax returns in on time.
Magistrates handed out the fines at Douglas courthouse, ordering the defendants to pay up to £1,050 each, plus court costs.
The Treasury say the individual penalty can be up to £5,000.
