The prospect of tax rises after the General Election is on the agenda at the latest meeting of the Positive Action Group on Monday evening.
PAG has invited the Island's former Assessor of Tax Mark Solly to speak.
Mr Solly's concerned at the loss of around £2.5 million tax take after the scrapping of ARI, part of the Island's Zero Ten tax system.
He fears a greater burden may fall on the less well-off as the Island seeks to make up the loss.
Chair of the Positive Action Group, Roger Tomlinson, says tax rises may be needed - and the issue must be aired before the Manx public goes to the polls:
The meeting is at the Manx Legion Club on Monday night, starting at 7.30pm, Admission is free.
