A Douglas taxi driver has been further remanded in custody over an accusation he caused the death of a 73-year-old woman in March.
Sixty-five-year-old David Evans, of Tynwald Street, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse yesterday (17 June).
He hasn’t yet entered pleas to charges of causing the death of Carolyn Buchan by careless driving and failing to stop at, or report, an accident on 20 March.
He's also accused of committing an act against public justice on or about 23 March.
There was no bail application - he'll next appear in court on 7 July.
