Promoting the Isle of Man is part of the job of a taxi driver, according to some members of the local trade.
Cabbies have been giving their views on whether they have a role to play, speaking positively to customers about the Isle of Man.
The Department of Economic Development is investigating reports an airport-based driver bad-mouthed the Island to visitors, after a complaint was made to the Road Transport Licensing Committee.
