
It's estimated 70-80% of construction work in the Isle of Man is still being funded by taxpayers' money.
Chief Minister Allan Bell has been speaking about the industry in Tynwald questions.
His comments came during a question from Michael MHK Alf Cannan about the progress being made on eastern, western and northern area plans:
