'Enhanced ventilation' is 'just windows open'
A secondary school teacher has challenged government's Covid-19 mitigation strategy in Island schools.
The Department of Education says all education settings have 'proportionate measures' in place to try and stop the spread of the virus.
However Gareth Young, who recently stood in the House of Keys General Election, says this gives the impression of a rigorous regime.
He says he's yet to see a CO2 monitor in school and 'enhanced ventilation' is basic in the extreme:
Speaking on Manx Radio Breakfast today Minister Dr Alex Allinson said whilst he understands his concerns the mitigation measures are in place:
Three-month wait for state pension forecast statements
OFT to investigate possible regulation of funeral directors
"One of the Island's foremost champions of Manx heritage" to receive Tynwald Honour
No timeline yet for reinstatement of rehab service to north
Venezuela Fury & Noah Price wedding "a true showcase of the breadth and quality of Manx services"
