A teacher at Ramsey Grammar School is the latest to throw his hat into the ring to become a member of the Legislative Council.
Conor Keenan has been nominated by MHK for Ayre Tim Johnston and seconded by Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse.
The election for four MLCs will take place on 14 March; nominations close on 24 February.
Other nominees so far include Diane Kelsey, Tanya August-Hanson, Paul Craine and Kirrie Anne Jenkins.
