Laxey School without hot water and heating
A teacher in the east of the Island has reported the theft of thousands of litres of oil from Laxey School.
Max Kelly is also the president of the Island branch of the National Association of Head Teachers.
In a post on social media he says the school has been left without heating and hot water as a result.
Mr Kelly adds staff have liaised with police to resolve the issue.
We’ve had to report the theft of thousands of litres of oil from Laxey School’s oil tank today. No heating, no hot water. Good job I’ve got the best caretaker who has worked hard to liaise with Police and get things moving and to get us all sorted.
