School pays tribute to well-respected man
More details about the death of a popular high school teacher have emerged.
Tony Roberts died after being hit by a train at a spot south of Yarm railway station in North Yorkshire on Sunday (30 September).
British Transport Police are investigating the incident, which is not being treated as suspicious.
Mr Roberts taught business studies and economics at St Ninian's high school, as well as being a sixth form tutor.
The school paid tribute to him earlier this week, describing Mr Roberts as a well-respected member of the team who will be missed by everyone who knew him.
