Event planned to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week
A team from supercar manufacturer McLaren are to visit University College Isle of Man this evening (5 February).
They'll be delivering a talk to young people about engineering careers in the automotive industry.
Robert Yates, Ella Podmore MBE and Beth Elliot will be visiting UCM tonight from 5:30pm, to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week.
The team will be accompanied by a McLaren Artura which will be available to walkaround, as well as the opportunity to meet with local industry experts.
The Artura is McLaren’s first-ever series-production High-Performance Hybrid supercar.
Anyone aged 14+ who is currently in education has the opportunity to attend the event.
There is a limit of 40 free tickets for this event, on a first-come-first basis.
