Manx contingent to test skills against others at event in New Zealand
A team from the Island will be showcasing its sheep shearing and wool handling skills on the other side of the world early in 2026.
A Manx contingent will put their skills to the test against some of the best in the business at the prestigious World Golden Shears Sheep Shearing Championships in New Zealand in March.
Team member, Phillip Christian has competed before in New Zealand more than 20 years ago.
He told Manx Radio's Farming Correspondent, Simon Clarke it was an eye-opening experience:
