Politics seen in new light
A local tech firm has enabled data mining of the Island's parliamentary records.
In an analysis exercise, the Manx Technology Group has given a visual insight into Tynwald's Hansard by charting themes and picking up on the tone and mood of a sitting.
The platform, spanned across 30 years of more than 62 million words, is able to extract information on any chosen topic in a matter of seconds.
With findings being posted to social media as infographics, group CEO Joe Hughes says it paints Manx politics in a whole new light:
