Wi-Manx hosting event
Businesses need to be more aware of cyber-security in a more IT-dependent world.
That's the message being put out ahead of the Island's first ever Technology Summit, which takes place next month.
The event, organised by local company Wi-Manx, kicks off in the Villa Marina on Tuesday the 27th of October.
It's free to attend, and will educate companies on the new threats presented by data loss, corporate hacking and espionage in the 21st Century.
Wi-Manx Director Kate Hegarty told Manx Radio what attendees can expect at the summit:

Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
Creamery managing director to leave role
Fast-tracked legislation was designed to close 'loophole of expanding problem'
